How I Finally Cured My Stretch Marks & Went Back to my Young Looking Skin!

Hi my name is Andrea, 27 years old and still single but getting married hopefully by the end of this year. I was born in Richmond, Virginia and I love beaches. I can say I that had a perfect body, when I was in my early twenties. I used to wear a bathing suit with confidence. But It was all changed since I started having unwanted stretch marks. That is why I  started to do this blog because I wanted to share my story about having stretch marks without pregnacies. Very strange! How did I finally get rid of those unwanted stretch marks .

My story goes like this...

At my early age, I used to be the skinny girl, "stick figure", I was just short, petite and thin thats why why classmates in college always teased me.. No matter how much I ate I stayed that way. A slow developer, I finally hit puberty at 17 and slowly from that point over the next 5 years or so my body filled out a bit to a less "twiggish" look. I finally liked my body. I worked really hard to develop my self esteem, confidence and self-worth. I did a good job, too. I became a confident young woman proud of myself and how I look.

But when I turned 27 years old. I started to live with my long-term boyfriend. I talked to my doctor about birth control because no matter what I do I just can't remember to take the pill so I start taking Depo Provera shots. The main risk that goes with this, is that I might gain 5-lbs weight. I wasn't really concerned with 5 extra pounds so thats fine wth me. Until, I start having unrelated shoulder/arm pain, numbness, tingling, weakness. After months of treatment and such, I finally have an MRI and they find some disc herniations in my neck. In late May & mid June I have steriod injections to elliviate the pain that had been plaguing me. At first, I was quite pleased, the pain was gone.

But Before I continue with my story, let me give you and advance surprise on my strech mark.

Here is my progress photos, with visible strech mark and with my stech mark started to vanishes on the other.

However, just before I went in to have the second shot, a few people in my family told me my face looked puffy and round and wondered why. I'd say, I hadn't noticed. I thought nothing of it at first and had my second injection. Shortly thereafter, I gained a lot of weight - about 18lbs. And I can say that my geatest weight was 135 lbs. That's the time that I noticed that I'm getting chubby. I got tummy rolls, fat thighs and a bigger butt all with cellulite. I couldn't fit in my old clothes! What was I going to wear to work?? Worst case is that, some of my friends were keep on asking me if I was pregnant.. LOL.. It was relly awful! I must admit I get embarassed sometimes.

Anyway, to the stretch marks, there was a time that I was in the bathroom getting ready for work. I have two mirrors so I can see the back of my hair when I style it. I noticed something in the mirror behind me out of the corner of my eye. I turned to look closer - I had pink/red marks all over my butt! I was devastated. I thought this only happened to pregnant women on their stomachs and breasts. I am a small girl, I shouldn't have stretch marks. I stayed in denial about it for a few days, tried to forget it. After all, what could I do about it anyway? But everytime a see the mirror, I get conscious and desperate! I'm fat and covered with stretch marks. It was horrible. I've always been so happy with who I am, but I'm not myself anymore whatsoever, and I'm dying to get my body back.

I figured the stretch marks were a result of the weight gain, I see that it could be a result of my medications I'm on and neither doctor told me about this possibility - not to mention the multitude of other side effects I've been experiencing. I have really bad stretch marks covering my entire stomach. They are vertical AND horizontal, making a weird curved checkerboard pattern. My complexion is similar to Oprah Winfrey or Vivica Fox. But my stretch marks are extremely light - I'm talking Beyonce from Destiny's Child light and maybe even a little lighter.I was so negative thinking that no treatment was not going to work for me.

I was going to try laser surgery and was actually doing research on the internet when I came across a website that offers free trial of their product, the Cosmetyn . I made an agreement with my boyfriend that I would try something affordable and safe first to see if it worked before resorting to surgery. (I also wanted a tummy tuck and belly button reconstruction, which made my boyfriend nervous).

I was really skeptical when I made the purchase of Cosmetyn Stretch Mark Cream, but I was desperate and figured that, if it didn't work, it was just a few box anyway. When I bought the product I started it at once. After a week, my boyfriend said that he noticed a difference on my skin but I couldn't see it. I just kept on using the product again until now. I now see the results. Tonight was my 3rd week of using the product and before I applied the creams after the massage I looked at my stomach and was shocked.

This is so easy and I'm so happy it's working. Sections of my stomach are clearing up and the skin's complexion is evening out. Before my sessions, whenever I ran my fingers across my belly I could feel the individual tears and rips that the marks left. Now, the surface is totally flat. Here is the first result..

I would like to thank Cosmetyn, for giving me hope. Now that I'm dedicated to taking care of my body on the outside, I've been working on the inside too. I'm drinking 64oz of water everyday, I exercise for an hour a day, I take a daily vitamin, and eat well. My stomach's getting flatter and clearer.

I don't think I'll be needing any surgery after all. This summer I was able to wear a bikini again. Thank for reading my page! I hope, I had inspired you with my true to life story. I know Im not a good motivator but I hope you've found a helpful information on my blog.

Thank you and Best of Goodluck to the New You!

Sincerely,
